Malam Gema Merdeka
This year, come gather for the Malam Gema Merdeka(MGM) night which is specially dedicated to celebrate our country's 50th year of independence.

Details are as follows:
Date: 1st September 2007
Venue: University of New South Wales, Science Theatre
Price: Gold tickets - $25 , Silver Tickets - $20 , Normal - $10 (Dinner will be served for gold & silver)

There will be various performances and other activities at the MGM.

Recap of Semester 2 so far..

Welcome BBQ Sem 2:
The BBQ had a good turnout with more than 50 people. It was held at Macquarie University Village Green. We had heaps of sausages, fun and laughter. Some even had a kick at the soccer ball. Overall, it was a success! Hope to see all of you guys again.

Mr.G said "this is a sausage fest!"

Rock Climbing:
Rock Climbing all in all, was a fun event. Not as successful as the Welcome BBQ in terms of crowd turnout but everyone still manage to have a great time. Let's hope more people will turn up for future rock climbing events. :D

NOIR Dance Party:
Docks is one of the better clubbing venues i've been so far, and i'm sure many of you would agree with me. The place started filling up since 10pm and had a total capacity of 700+ people at the end of the night. The party was awesome and rocked.
Although some had too many a drink, there was this guy who was singing "negaraku" outside the club haha.

So that was the recap on Semester 2 so far.

Malaysia Fest 2007

Hope everyone had fun at NOIR, this coming week we have the highly anticipated annual Malaysia Fest. Details are as follows:

Date: 26th August 2007 (Sunday)
Time: 10am - 5pm
Venue: Tumbaloong Park, Darling Harbour, Sydney.
There is no entry fee

There will be authentic malaysian food stalls. Think satay, nasi lemak, rojak, laksa and many more !

Apart from the food, which some people might consider as the main attraction, there will also be various perfomances throughout the day.
Performances include:
Fashion Show
Live Band
Medley Dances
Sketch
Dikir Barat

Also, there will be a raffle with huge prizes.

So make sure you don't miss out on this event ! See you guys there

NOIR Dance Party

Hey people ! It's time again for the Malaysian Dance Party.

It's happening this friday 17th of August.

It is $15 pre-paid and $20 at the door.

This semester's dance party will be held at Docks Hotel, Darling Harbour
and will start at 10pm.

It will be lots of fun. So we hope to see you there !

We've got 2 events coming up, the first being the BBQ which is on the 11th of August and the second, rock climbing on the next day the 12th of August. This is to compensate for the lack of activities on the opening week of uni.
